A2017P JIS Standard H4000
The 2000 series, Al-Cu alloy lacks corrosion resistance and weldability, but has good strength and machinability. It is commonly referred to as duralumin and is widely used in aircraft and automotive parts. Similar to A5052, there is a wide variety of sheet thicknesses and stock quantities, making it a main product of aluminum materials.
