The design and manufacturing support software "TrochoidV7" for a two-stage trochoidal gear reducer assists in the design and manufacturing of a two-stage planetary differential reducer that uses an involute gear in the first stage and a trochoidal gear in the second stage. It is the first software of its kind that supports the development of a two-stage reducer using involute and trochoidal gears by providing features such as rotation simulation, tooth profile data storage, DXF file saving, design data text saving, and calculations for data such as pressure angle and radius of curvature.

The design and manufacturing support software for a two-stage trochoidal gear reducer, "TrochoidV7," assists in the design and manufacturing of a two-stage planetary differential reducer that uses an involute gear in the first stage and a trochoidal gear in the second stage. In "TrochoidV7," text data for the tooth profiles of the pinion and gear created externally can be imported and arranged with the pinion centered on the reducer and the gear on the carrier axis. The drawn trochoidal gears, pinions, gears, or assembly drawings can be saved as DXF files. This allows for easier design of complex two-stage reducers, and by simulating rotation, users can gain a deeper understanding of the reduction mechanism, thereby shortening development time. The tooth profile data for the pinion and gear can be created manually, but it can also be easily generated using our gear software, "HG_Design," among others.

Modeling Example of Trochoidal Gears An example of modeling designed using software for the design and manufacturing support of trochoidal gears, utilizing 3D CAD from a DXF file. (Separate 3D CAD software is required.)
Trochoid Gear Data Input Form Data creation form. Input the data for the trochoid gear to calculate the design specifications. Functions for file saving and retrieval are available. There are features for tooth profile modification and design navigation.
