basic information
**Main Features** - Designed for high-speed machining of main spindle bases and precision parts, utilizing a combination of cylindrical roller bearings and angular ball bearings to ensure rigidity. - The cutting base features a comb blade structure with sliding surfaces subjected to high-frequency hardening, allowing for long-term precision maintenance through precision grinding. - The feed system for the cutting base uses servo motors for both the X and Z axes, enabling stable feeding and high precision maintenance for taper and R processing. - The control system employs Mitsubishi MELDAS C5, allowing for program input via a computer. The minimum set movement unit is 0.001 mm (X-axis radius setting). - Compatibility with the tooling system: → Chuck, bite holders, etc., from the long-used 17-type Propon machine can be used interchangeably. - Processing that traditionally required several tools can now be accomplished with fewer tools, reducing issues with chip entanglement. → The structure allows chips to slide off outside the machine, making disposal easy. As a small machinery manufacturer, S&M Machinery has inherited the technology of Wachigai, which has a proven track record of various automatic lathes. We have successfully completed the compact, high-speed auto loader for Wachigai's automatic lathe A, B, and C series, achieving thorough cost reduction. It has become possible to automate short cycle processing and simple processing using special tools, which have few advantages in NC machining, at a low cost.
