The IWFM series is a rectangular-shaped inductive proximity sensor designed to be very thin, with analog (current/voltage) output. Its very thin rectangular shape allows for installation in very limited spaces, providing fast response times and excellent linearity, demonstrating outstanding performance across a wide range of applications. Not only is it thin, but it also adopts a safe three-wire (DC three-wire) configuration, eliminating concerns about leakage current that can arise with two-wire (DC two-wire) systems. While two-wire systems can reduce wiring costs compared to three-wire systems, they carry the risk of leakage current. In contrast, three-wire systems incur higher wiring costs but offer greater safety. Whether to prioritize "cost reduction" or "safety" depends on the customer's application and situation, but if safety is a priority, we highly recommend the IWFM series.
