It can absorb 10 to 12 times its own weight in oil floating on the water's surface. A 50 cm square mat can absorb over 2 kg of oil, and even when left in water, it will not absorb water for about 5 hours and will not return oil to the water. It is also effective against organic solvents such as toluene and benzene. Furthermore, even when mixed with water, it only absorbs the solvent. Please use it in various situations such as oil-water separation tanks and around factory machinery. (Incineration disposal is possible.)
