The combination seal of PTFE and O-ring has the advantage of being able to be used at high speeds and without lubrication, compared to elastomer U-packing, and it also offers longer service life. However, when used in pneumatic applications, there was a demand for even lower friction. To meet this requirement, we optimized the cross-sectional shape and newly developed the Turcon Glide Ring ARG/APG as a combination seal specifically for pneumatic use.
