A BER (Bit Error Rate) measurement device that enables the measurement of the BER of a digital TV tuner.
This device is an error rate meter for measuring bit errors from a TS (Transport Stream) input. It features a transmission section that generates a pseudo-random signal for measurement and a reception section that measures bit errors, all in a standalone configuration that does not require an external host computer (such as a PC). It is equipped with two measurement modes: TS mode and TEST mode. In TS mode, error rate measurement is possible from the TS input of various digital broadcasts. In TEST mode, general error rate measurement using a pseudo-random signal is possible. The panel is equipped with a color LCD display (640×240/64 color display), allowing for user-friendly operation and diverse display of measurement results.

basic information
**Features** - It is equipped with a transmission unit (Transmit) and a reception unit (Receive). - The transmission unit can generate measurement signals with RPBs inserted. - The reception unit has a null packet filtering function. - Measurement can be selected in TS mode or TEST mode. - TS can be selected as either 188 Bytes or 204 Bytes. - Measurement is supported even when the OFDM demodulator does not have hierarchical TS output functionality. Patent pending. - Measurement data display can be updated every second until the measurement time ends or updated at the end of the measurement time. - It is possible to graphically display the error rate per measurement time unit within a specified period. - It has a NO/GO judgment function that uses a set error rate as a threshold and can generate a warning sound. - It is equipped with a calendar function to manage and graphically display the LOG of measurement results. - The measurement rate supports up to 90 MBit/s.
