The Schröder company's air breather with a moisture-absorbing agent (desiccant) supports cost reduction and production improvement by protecting machinery and raw material powders from moisture and particulate contamination. When pressure changes occur inside the tank, humid air is drawn in, passes through a 2-micron filter and diffusion material, and moisture is absorbed as it passes through silica gel. The dry air is further purified by a second 2-micron contaminant filter, creating a structure that accommodates bidirectional airflow. Only filtered clean air, free of moisture and contaminants, can access the inside of the tank, and the absorbed moisture and filtered contaminants are trapped inside the breather without re-emitting.
