We are cultivating and processing large sapphires of approximately 300mm using the original TSMG method developed by Shinko.
Sapphire crystals have the following characteristics: - Heat resistance (up to 2000°C) - Wear resistance (Mohs hardness of 9) - Strength (more than five times that of tempered glass) - High thermal conductivity (more than 40 times that of glass) - High purity (over 99.99%) - Optical transparency: Transmits from UV to IR They are widely used as window materials that can solve challenges that cannot be achieved with glass or fluorides. In recent years, due to their optical properties and thermal conductivity at low temperatures, sapphire produced by Shinko Co. has been adopted as large mirrors for gravitational wave telescopes, expanding their applications. We also accept special processing requests, so please feel free to consult with us.

basic information
When making an inquiry, please let us know your desired: - Size - Surface orientation - Polishing surface - Other specifications you would like. It would be helpful if you have a drawing. Additionally, if you could provide information about the intended use, we may be able to offer suggestions from our side. *For more details, please contact us or refer to the catalog.
Price information
Products are processed by cutting them from large ingots (crystal masses). Since sapphire is said to be the second hardest material after diamond, processing it is not easy. In recent years, the applications for sapphire products have been expanding, and they have become more affordable than before, but particularly large-sized items remain quite expensive.

Our company is a manufacturer of oxide single crystals. In particular, we specialize in the following products: 1. Sapphire (α-Al2O3) 2. SrTiO3 3. Rutile (single crystal of TiO2). Although we are a crystal manufacturer, we also perform a full range of processing, including cutting, grinding, and polishing. Having handled crystals for over 70 years since our founding, we possess extensive knowledge and experience, especially regarding sapphire. Recently, we have also been mass-producing sapphire crystals larger than 300mm, allowing us to accommodate large-shaped products and mass production. We are a small company with about 170 employees, but please feel free to contact us if there is anything we can assist you with.
