Rapidly crush bacterial cells and tissue fragments frozen in containers with liquid nitrogen. Multiple samples can be processed simultaneously in a sealed container.
The Freeze Crusher "μT-48" allows you to place tissue samples such as organs, bacterial bodies, and plants into a container along with a metal crusher, set it in a holder, and freeze it with liquid nitrogen, then crush it using impact from shaking. Since the crushing occurs while the samples remain frozen, it prevents the decomposition or denaturation of the target substances. The crushing time varies slightly depending on the sample, but it generally takes about several tens of seconds. This product does not have a refrigeration function, but the crushing will be completed before the samples fully thaw. Additionally, this product's method is effective for small samples, resulting in minimal loss. Disposable containers can be used, including 2.0mL microtubes, eliminating the hassle of cleaning and concerns about contamination. For particularly hard samples (such as bones, plastics, and rubber), we offer a stainless steel strong crushing container (sold separately) to ensure strength against intense shaking. Company information
In 1942, TaiTec was founded in Kanda Sakumacho, Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo, as a manufacturer and seller of scientific glassware, and since then, it has consistently followed the path of a general-purpose scientific instrument manufacturer. Starting with its first hit product, the Warburg pressure measurement device, it has grown to include a highly popular series of shaking water baths, pioneering unit water baths, aluminum block water baths, and now boasts a lineup of over 200 products. However, no matter how much the products have evolved, the commitment to being "user-oriented" has remained unchanged since its inception. TaiTec has always placed itself alongside users, continuously gathering their feedback to improve its products. As a result of this dedication, it has grown to be recognized as the scientific instrument brand "TAITEC."
