It is a high-cost performance bead crusher that is not available from other companies. It can accommodate 2ml and 5ml tubes. It shakes the horizontally placed tubes (up to 12 tubes for 1.5/2.0ml) at high speed in a slightly arched trajectory, similar to shaking by hand. While multi-sample bead mills typically use a vertical tube setup for umbrella-like shaking, this method may not provide sufficient amplitude even at high shaking speeds, leading to excessive heat generation from friction without achieving adequate crushing force.
