The "expansion joint" is made from modified PTFE (T-62), which has high corrosion resistance and does not deteriorate. It is also extremely flexible and boasts high reliability. Additionally, it has reduced elasticity to protect pressure-sensitive glass, graphite, and FRP equipment, improving cost efficiency. The bellows of the "R710 series" use PTFE.
