In air and water, water is more effective at absorbing heat from objects, so the thermal time constant is smaller.
In the thermal time constant of temperature power sensors, those with good thermal conductivity become familiar easily, while those with poor thermal conductivity take longer to become familiar. The degree of familiarity is expressed in terms of the thermal time constant. We measured the thermal time constants of the MQT8 series of temperature power sensors. The thermal time constant is represented by the time it takes to reach 60% of the temperature change range. As shown in the difference table, regardless of whether the temperature change range is large or small, if the object and measurement conditions are the same, the same values are indicated. The thermal time constants measured in air with a wind speed of 1 to 1.5 m are 102 seconds for MQT8, 160 seconds for M2, and 195 seconds for M3. In water, the thermal time constant is smaller because water is more effective at extracting heat from the object than air. For more details, please download the catalog.

basic information
【Features】 ○ All objects have their own heat capacity. ○ Generally, larger objects are less likely to assimilate to the surrounding temperature, while smaller objects are more likely to adapt to it. ○ Materials with good thermal conductivity adapt easily, while those with poor thermal conductivity do not adapt easily. ○ The quality of adaptation is expressed by the thermal time constant. ○ Regardless of whether the temperature change is large or small, if the object is the same and the measurement conditions are the same, the same value will be indicated. ● For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

Company information
I want to be a company that continues to burn brightly. A company can keep burning with energy by having its own unique image. Without it, the company will stagnate and lose its growth potential. Some say that a company's lifespan is 20 years. This may be a lesson suggesting that the length of time one can maintain passion for a single item is limited to 20 years. However, it is also a truth based on past history that a company that can continuously raise new flames can have an infinite lifespan. Of course, it is necessary to continue supplying products that the market demands. However, I believe that is not enough. "Our basic philosophy is to lead the market by understanding market needs and embodying them in our products, while contributing to significant cost savings through continuous technological improvement." While small cost reductions in front of us are certainly necessary, they may be trivial when viewed from a broader perspective. Fundamental reforms that reorganize the system are the root solution. Our goal is to achieve significant cost savings through the rationalization of the overall system.
