We recommend pesticide testing, analysis through quality control of raw materials, and risk management.
Analysis of pesticide residues in food is recommended to demonstrate the "safety" that consumers seek in food and the "trust" that differentiates products, through pesticide testing at the production site and shipping, as well as analysis and risk management through quality control of raw materials. Additionally, the "Positive List System" was implemented in 2006. Under this system, standard values covering approximately 800 items are specified, and for pesticides and others for which no residue standards are set, a uniform standard (0.01 ppm) is established, prohibiting detection above a certain amount.
