The valve pump packing "grand packing" is prone to vertical deformation in response to tightening force from above, and its axial surface (inner and outer diameter) serves as the sealing surface, demonstrating sealing performance against fluids. Additionally, by combining it with braided packing, the sealing capability is further enhanced, with the braided packing acting as a backup ring. The manufacturing process involves wrapping a tape-like thin sheet around a dedicated molding die in a concentric manner and performing several compressive moldings using a hydraulic press. The molded sizes can accommodate a wide range of external diameters from φ9 to φ600, and there are mainly two types of molded products available: the endless type and the bias cut type with a 45-degree cut.
