The CAPTEC RF series radiation sensor is a groundbreaking radiative heat flux sensor that is alternately covered with thin heat-absorbing plates and reflective plates, allowing it to measure only the radiative heat applied to the sensor surface. Unlike conventional radiometers, this radiation sensor does not require the installation of infrared filter windows. Additionally, the sensor's sensitivity remains constant even with temperature changes, outputting a voltage that is perfectly proportional to the radiative heat flux value. The emissivity of the sensor surface can also be specified as desired, enabling more accurate measurement of radiative heat under various thermal environments.

【Output Voltage】 When the sensitivity of the sensor fluctuates due to temperature changes, complex calculations are required to convert the output voltage into radiation heat flux values. This sensor outputs a voltage that is always constant in sensitivity and perfectly proportional to the heat flux value, allowing for the direct recording of the true radiation heat flux value. Additionally, it is highly sensitive, capable of detecting minute radiation heat and outputting a high voltage that can be recorded even with general-purpose recording devices. 【Accuracy】 High-precision measurements require sensors with lower thermal resistance values. This sensor is made of materials with high thermal conductivity and has a thickness of 0.3 [mm], minimizing the impact of the thermal environment during measurement. Furthermore, the emissivity of the sensor surface can be specified arbitrarily between 0.2 and 0.8.
