The backwash-type Yuasa is a backwash immersion membrane separation device that can efficiently perform filtration, sludge recovery, and sludge concentration. It filters the concentrated liquid in the immersion tank by suction, causing sludge to adhere to the membrane surface. After a certain period, the membrane module rises and backwashes to detach the sludge from the membrane surface. It enables sludge volume reduction and the recovery of chemical-free sludge.
