The reflective photo sensor KR864 and the light modulation types KR865 and KR866 are dust-proof photo reflectors that use infrared light-emitting diodes on the emitting side and photo ICs on the receiving side. Due to their dust-proof structure, they are easy to clean from paper dust and can also detect materials with low reflectivity, such as black paper and OHP film. The KR865 and KR866 are resistant to noise from ambient light due to their light modulation method. Additionally, RoHS-compliant versions are available. They are suitable for applications such as paper detection in copiers, printers, and various automatic machines for object passage detection.
