◆ Air Slip Method The material, softened by heating, is inflated by compressed air, and a convex-shaped mold is pushed up from below. By vacuum suction, the material is closely adhered to the mold, resulting in a very smooth surface finish since the mold only adheres to the inside. ◆ Plug Assist Method To adhere the material to a concave-shaped mold, vacuum suction is applied while simultaneously pressing down with an auxiliary mold called a plug, allowing for precise shaping of difficult details.
