This is a roll-type folding machine manufactured by GUK. The RS21/880/2 is driven by the cartoner, while the RS42 operates independently and is synchronized with the RS21, with a buffer loop in between. As a function of the RS21/880/2, the documents are retrieved from the signals from the cartoner. Once the cut by the knife shaft is completed, the pull roller controlled by the electromagnetic clutch and brake is activated. The knife shaft rotates until the next registration mark is detected, then stops, and the knife on the rotary knife shaft accurately cuts the roll paper to the specified length while stationary.
