The mainstream vibration isolation measures used in the transportation of precision machinery are generally made of urethane foam (expanded polystyrene). However, while this material excels in shock absorption and high-frequency vibration absorption, it has the drawback of not being sufficiently adaptable for acceleration (G) absorption.
