It is a device that measures the absolute amount of visible light and infrared radiation emitted from all objects by wavelength. Unlike a spectrophotometer, it can perform spectral analysis on objects of any shape, at long distances, and of various subjects. By combining filters and detectors, the optimal configuration for measurement wavelengths from 1.3 to 4.2 μm, as well as from ultraviolet to far infrared, can be selected. It is designed to be compact and robust, making it easy to transport and allowing for convenient outdoor measurements. The standard software is equipped with many essential functions for spectral analysis. Simple arithmetic calculations can be performed between measurement spectra and the Planck function, covering most analyses. Additionally, there are plenty of software options available for special applications.
