Zero Backlash MLC Type with Clamp Stop!
The ML series of Universal Lateral Couplings is a shaft coupling that simultaneously absorbs both eccentricity and angular misalignment in a single coupling. The intermediate torque ring (made of resin) transmits the rotational phase while sliding according to the eccentricity and angular misalignment, resulting in minimal secondary moments. Additionally, a unique feature is that there is no play in the axial direction, allowing the coupling to be fully integrated in the axial orientation. Utilizing this characteristic, it can also transmit pushing and pulling forces in the axial direction. The MLC type is a clamp-type coupling.
