Temposonics sensors are highly durable absolute linear scales that use magnetostrictive technology, designed to withstand harsh environments such as shock, vibration, and temperature. They offer high precision (0.5μm), robustness (vibration resistance of 30G, waterproof rating of IP68/69K, rod pressure resistance of 80MPa, CE compliance), and stroke lengths ranging from 25mm to 20m, with a variety of interfaces available. They can be used for waterproof applications, long-length measurements, simultaneous multi-position measurements, and explosion-proof applications, making them suitable for a wide range of uses. Additionally, the pressure-resistant rod can be used directly in a vacuum, and it can accommodate long lengths and curves up to 20m. Multiple positions of transport carriers can be measured accurately and simultaneously, and since the movable part for measuring position only uses magnets, no power or signal cables are required for the movable part.
