basic information
The bonded coating is a solid lubricant (usually molybdenum disulfide, graphite, or PTFE) incorporated into an organic or inorganic binder. To enable the distribution of the bonded coating, a solvent that evaporates during the curing or drying time is added. After careful preparation of the surface, the coating is applied by spraying, painting, or dipping. The dry bond coat layer is 10 to 20 micrometers thick. It withstands high-pressure loads and extreme temperatures, characterized by excellent long-term lubrication with very high chemical resistance.

Applications/Examples of results
Bond coatings are used in many technical fields on sliding surfaces and screw spindles of nuts, bolts, washers, springs, seal rings, gears, etc. Compared to classical lubricants like oil and grease, they provide dry lubrication, allowing for clean lubrication without dirt adhesion. They offer a very low friction coefficient, chemical and physical stability, high-temperature elasticity, minimal evaporation loss, and effectiveness even at low sliding speeds. The long-term lubrication effect results in high cost-effectiveness. Remove any contaminants as much as possible before use.
