Thermal Spray Processing Glossary
● Rough Surface Treatment A pre-treatment that creates unevenness on the base material to improve the adhesion of the coating. Methods include threading, grooving, knurling, and blasting. ● Grit Blast A process where abrasive materials are sprayed onto the surface of the substrate using compressed air to clean and roughen the surface. ● Undercut The process of machining the base material negatively to ensure the necessary thermal spray coating. ● Mask A covering applied to the base material to prevent the effects of blasting and the adhesion of the thermal spray coating during blasting and thermal spraying processes. ● Post-Treatment Processes applied in the post-stage after thermal spraying. This includes re-melting treatment (fusing), sealing treatment, and heat diffusion treatment.

Company information
Our company specializes in surface modification technologies that are not commonly heard of, such as "thermal spraying" and "ceramic laser engraving." Thermal spraying is one of the special techniques used across a range of industries, from low-tech sectors like kitchenware to high-tech industries such as aerospace. We were founded in 1950 with the aim of engine regeneration (engine boring) for automobiles and motorcycles, and we have consistently operated with the goal of being "the only one in a niche market" up to the present day.
