The measurement of the I-V curve characteristics of PV panels within a solar power generation system and the input/output characteristics of the power conditioner can be performed with a single device. By measuring both the PV panels and the power conditioner on-site, more accurate and rational analysis becomes possible, demonstrating its effectiveness as an evaluation tool for solar power generation systems. With an ultra-lightweight size of 1.4 kg and battery operation, it can be used in various measurement locations. The device is equipped with both the I-V curve measurement function for PV panels and the input/output measurement function for the power conditioner, allowing for efficient measurements. It provides output specifications for different models from various PV panel manufacturers, with the capability to store up to 30 types in its memory as a database. An OK/NG judgment can be made on-site by comparing the measurement results. Data can be saved in the internal memory and re-displayed. Additionally, data editing is possible through transfer to a PC. The temperature of the PV panels, ambient temperature, and solar radiation can be measured remotely with a dedicated remote unit, allowing for operation even when the main unit and PV panels are located far apart. The measuring device complies with safety standards IEC61010-1 and is marked with the CE mark.
