Amorphous Scott Connection Transformer (Patent Pending)
Amorphous Scott Connection Transformer AMT-TSS-AN (patent pending)
By using an amorphous core, we have reduced no-load loss to about 1/4 to 1/6 of conventional products, achieving the highest efficiency in energy-saving effects.
When using amorphous alloy strips for iron cores, compared to magnetic materials such as silicon steel sheets with crystalline structures, the rotation of atoms becomes easier when the magnetic flux changes, resulting in reduced hysteresis loss (loss during magnetic flux passage). Additionally, due to the thinner plate thickness, eddy current losses are also minimized. Therefore, amorphous iron cores reduce iron loss compared to conventional silicon steel plate iron cores. Transformer losses can be broadly categorized into two types: "no-load loss," which occurs regardless of the load, and "load loss," which varies with the load current. No-load loss primarily refers to iron loss occurring in the iron core. Load loss, known as copper loss, is due to the resistance of the transformer windings caused by load current. Amorphous transformers focus on minimizing no-load loss among these losses. Since transformers are long-lasting products, reducing no-load loss can lead to significant energy-saving effects.
