The design and manufacturing support software "TrochoidV8" for the new two-stage reduction trochoidal gear reducer assists in the design and manufacturing of a two-stage planetary differential reducer that uses an involute gear in the first stage and a trochoidal gear in the second stage. It supports the development of one-stage and two-stage reducers using involute and trochoidal gears by providing functions such as rotation simulation, tooth profile data storage, DXF file saving, design data text saving, and calculations of data such as pressure angle and radius of curvature.

The design and manufacturing support software "TrochoidV8" for the new two-stage reduction trochoidal gear reducer assists in the design and manufacturing of a two-stage planetary differential reducer that uses an involute gear in the first stage and a trochoidal gear in the second stage. It is also possible to design a single-stage trochoidal gear. In "TrochoidV8," in addition to the functions of "TrochoidV7," you can import the tooth profile text data of the machined trochoidal gear into the software, perform positional correction, compare it with the theoretical tooth profile, and conduct rotation simulations. Additionally, the imported trochoidal gear can be saved as a DXF file. Furthermore, "TrochoidV8" allows you to select from two types of tooth profile correction methods according to the shape of the correction. The software supports the entire process from development to manufacturing and inspection. It enables easier design of complex two-stage reducers, allows for a deeper understanding of the reduction mechanism through rotation simulations, and shortens development time. While the tooth profile data for the pinion and gear can be created manually, it can also be easily generated using our gear software "HG_Design" and others.
