This is a viscometer that can measure the viscosity of liquids with high precision in-line using ultrasonic vibrations. It features a transmitter with no moving parts and external output, making it suitable for in-line measurements. When a vibrating element (viscosity sensor) is placed in the liquid and vibrated, the amplitude of the sensor's vibration is suppressed and decreases due to the viscous resistance of the liquid, which increases with the viscosity of the liquid.
