The Eiko UCM-type air filter unit provides safe, low running cost clean air to everyone, thanks to its excellent filtration characteristics and durability. The filter paper is a porous membrane with a uniform pore size made solely from PTFE (fluororesin). The bore size is 0.2 microns, ensuring complete filtration of particles and microorganisms from air and gas. The filter material is hydrophobic, repelling water and allowing only air and gas to pass through. The end caps are made of polysulfone, which has high heat resistance and allows for repeated inline steam sterilization. There is no risk of the filter material detaching and flowing out to the secondary side. The filter has a large filtration area, resulting in lower pressure loss compared to conventional types. The installation to the housing is done with a twist lock, which is strong against back pressure, and the double O-ring design ensures complete sealing.
