This two-axis tire contact surface input simulator uses MTS RPC software to accurately and repeatedly reproduce loads caused by road surface inputs across the entire prototype vehicle, simulating loads and moments equivalent to test courses, including tests on rough terrain. This allows for the simulation of conditions that a typical rider encounters during everyday driving, enabling testers to obtain clear data on how the vehicle will ultimately perform after years of use.
