DSI (Die Slide Injection Molding) is an injection molding method developed by Japan Steel Works, which allows for the rapid and accurate molding of complex hollow structures. In the first injection, semi-finished products (two-part items) are molded, and the mold is slid using a hydraulic mechanism to form the hollow body, followed by melting and bonding in the second injection.
