basic information
【Overview】 ■ A device that attaches various components to a backing sheet (roll) and cuts it to a certain length. ■ Set the reel in the device and confirm the attachment position. Attach each component, perform a fixed quantity feed, and cut. The finished product panel is discharged onto the exit rail. ■ The strip/sheet supply mechanism allows for the supply of strips/sheets such as conjugate pads and sample pads. Set the strip/sheet in a dedicated magazine. After pulling out the sheet and cutting it into strips, attach it to the backing sheet. Confirm the attachment position using camera image processing, and mark any panels that are deemed NG. 【Device Configuration】 Composed of the following seven blocks. 1) Backing Sheet Section Reel unwinding unit / Waste paper winding unit 2) Component Supply Section 3) Laminate Film Section Reel unwinding unit / Waste paper winding unit 4) Finished Product Cutting Section Sheet transport robot mechanism (fixed quantity feed, cuts finished product sheets) 5) Sheet Supply Section Supplies sheet-shaped components 6) Camera Unit Section Confirms the attachment position of each material. NG image history can be checked on the touch panel. 7) NG Marking Section Marks sheets that have been deemed NG based on inspection results.

Applications/Examples of results
【Purpose】 In previous automatic lamination devices, the supply form of each component was limited to roll form. This device allows for feeding in roll, strip, and sheet forms. 【Practical Example】 (Before introduction) Components that require impregnation and drying processes are often supplied in strip or sheet form, and the lamination process for these components typically involves preparing all materials in card form for lamination. (After introduction) A single machine can automatically laminate components in mixed forms of roll, strip, and sheet with high precision.

Our company, BioDot Japan Co., Ltd., was established in February 2012 as the Japanese subsidiary of BioDot Inc. in the United States, and we have been supplying various diagnostic reagents and production equipment. BioDot Inc. is a venture company founded in 1994 in Irvine, California. The company’s self-developed non-contact micro-dispenser system (patented) has become the de facto standard for the development and production of immunochromatographic reagents and enzyme sensor reagents, widely used around the world. Additionally, the company has continuously commercialized peripheral devices, which have now become essential support equipment in these fields. However, we believe that in order to further advance the increasingly important clinical testing technologies, it is necessary to provide a wide range of raw materials, information, and services from both domestic and international sources, not just BioDot products. Therefore, we transformed into ForDix Co., Ltd. in December 2015. The technology for diagnostic reagents developed through clinical testing is also applied in food testing and environmental testing, supporting our lives beyond the medical field. As a company that supports those who research, develop, and commercialize these areas, we will strive to become a trusted presence.
