The base material, PP, is relatively inexpensive and lightweight among plastics, with excellent balance of rigidity and impact resistance, as well as heat resistance and chemical resistance. By blending this PP with olefin-based resins that enhance flexibility in a unique ratio, we have achieved the characteristics unique to PP, along with flexibility that allows for a minimum bending radius of 9.0mm (for the 4 x 2.5 type) and pressure resistance performance with a maximum operating pressure of 0.8MPa. This resin tube is ideal as a replacement for nylon tubes that are not used under high pressure, and it contributes to the stable operation of equipment, devices, and systems in sites using Ushio Lighting's plastic fittings "Z Union."
