【Technical Introduction】 ○ Sink Marks (SINK MARK) → Main causes: Low holding pressure, short holding time, thick product. ○ Warpage (WARP) → Main causes: Differences in surface shrinkage due to mold temperature distribution and variations in the thickness of the molded product, shrinkage differences due to molecular orientation. ○ Flash (FLASH) → Main causes: Insufficient clamping force of the molding machine, aging of the mold, insufficient material viscosity. ○ Short Shot (SHORT-SHOT) → Main causes: Gas generation inside the mold leading to insufficient filling, low injection speed and pressure, resin not flowing due to mold shape. ○ Silver Streaks (SILVER STREAKS) → Main causes: Insufficient drying of the material, high cylinder temperature, fast injection speed, etc. ○ Stringiness (STRINGINESS) → Main cause: High nozzle temperature. ○ Color Streak (COLOR STREAK) → Main causes: High cylinder temperature, long residence time of resin in the cylinder or nozzle, high screw rotation speed, etc. ● For more details, please contact us or refer to the catalog.
