We are developing our own die-casting aluminum alloys that possess mechanical properties not achievable with conventional JIS standard alloys. For example, the SN-3 alloy, developed for its excellent elongation characteristics, has replaced aluminum forging as a handle lever that does not break even when dropped, and is being adopted by various motorcycle manufacturers. To achieve cost reduction and weight savings through die-casting, which was previously impossible, we are conducting unique aluminum alloy development tailored to product needs.
