The HG center drill is a center drill improved for mass production processing. It achieves thorough improvements in takt time and stable lifespan. Particularly in small diameter sizes, it has several times the lifespan of conventional center drills. The carbide ALD coating type (TiAIN) features a fine particle carbide ALD coat for even longer life. It is also compatible with dry processing. The small diameters with cutting edge diameters of φ0.3mm-1.0mm are available in increments of 0.1mm. Additionally, the powder high-speed steel TiCN coating type allows for even higher speed processing and longer lifespan by applying TiCN coating to powder cobalt high-speed steel.
