Impact hammer
Model 8206, Model 8206-001, Model 8206-002, Model 8206-003
It is possible to measure impact input on small to medium-sized structures and to measure the frequency response function through impact excitation.
This impact hammer series is designed for excitation of small to medium structures, such as engine blocks, vehicle frames, and automotive components. Acceleration pickups (or laser velocimeters, etc.) are used to measure the response to excitation. A multi-channel FFT analyzer, such as the PULSE(TM) system, can be used to obtain the frequency response function and mode shapes of the test object. Unlike electrodynamic exciters, impact hammers do not add mass to the test object and are also portable. ● For more details, please download the catalog or contact us.
