For noise and vibration measurement of damping materials.
Vibration-damping materials such as damping steel plates, damping alloys, plastics, rubber, and asphalt are used in many fields, including automobiles, home appliances, and office equipment, effectively reducing noise and vibration. This system uses the multi-channel analysis processor SA-02, and with simple menu operations, it measures the frequency response function using either the cantilever beam method or the central excitation method.

basic information
The loss coefficient η and Young's modulus E (or shear modulus G) of the damping material are determined using the half-width method from the resonance characteristics. The measurement results can be validated through the dual monitoring function of the Nyquist diagram and frequency response function. Additionally, automatic control of the constant temperature chamber allows for automatic measurement of the specimen at each temperature.
