The electrostatic discharge countermeasure product, the old Sumitomo 3M (formerly 3M Japan/currently DESCO) Shoe & Flooring Tester 702, can measure and evaluate both electrostatic discharge shoes and flooring with a single unit. It measures the resistance value of flooring and can conduct resistance measurements at 500V, 100V, and 10V ranges (10kΩ to 1999MΩ). It complies with the electrode sizes specified by NEFPA, ANSI/EOS/ESD, and ASTM. It measures and evaluates the resistance values of electrostatic discharge shoes, socks, and the human body. *As of May 2017, the 702 has been discontinued, and we are providing information on alternative products that include each of its functions.
