Automated Dispensing System FISH / Karyotyping
CellWriter(TM) 240、CellWriter(TM) 480、CellWriter(TM) 960
CellWriter is an automatic dispensing workstation for preparing slides for karyotyping and FISH.
We developed a system for efficiently producing high-quality slide specimens by adopting BioDot's non-contact micro dispenser, which has numerous achievements in the field of diagnostic drug development and manufacturing. Additionally, by combining it with the CellWriter slide, we enabled high throughput, reduced sample/probe volumes, and multiplex analysis of FISH.

basic information
In fluorescence in situ hybridization, the process from specimen preparation to microscopic observation has long remained a manual task performed by skilled technicians. Therefore, by introducing an automated dispensing system capable of producing high-quality specimens and dispensing probes into this process, the automation of the entire workflow can be achieved. CellWriter(TM) is an automated dispensing workstation for preparing slides for karyotyping and FISH. By adopting BioDot's non-contact micro dispenser (BioJet(TM)), which has a proven track record in the development and manufacturing of diagnostic reagents, we have developed a system that efficiently produces high-quality slide specimens. Additionally, by combining it with CellWriter(TM) slides (patented*), we have enabled high throughput, miniaturization of samples/probes, and multiplex analysis of FISH. *USP 7745439B2 & USP 20100273680

Our company, BioDot Japan Co., Ltd., was established in February 2012 as the Japanese subsidiary of BioDot Inc. in the United States, and we have been supplying various diagnostic reagents and production equipment. BioDot Inc. is a venture company founded in 1994 in Irvine, California. The company’s self-developed non-contact micro-dispenser system (patented) has become the de facto standard for the development and production of immunochromatographic reagents and enzyme sensor reagents, widely used around the world. Additionally, the company has continuously commercialized peripheral devices, which have now become essential support equipment in these fields. However, we believe that in order to further advance the increasingly important clinical testing technologies, it is necessary to provide a wide range of raw materials, information, and services from both domestic and international sources, not just BioDot products. Therefore, we transformed into ForDix Co., Ltd. in December 2015. The technology for diagnostic reagents developed through clinical testing is also applied in food testing and environmental testing, supporting our lives beyond the medical field. As a company that supports those who research, develop, and commercialize these areas, we will strive to become a trusted presence.
