In particular, the greatest effect can be aimed for formulations based on natural rubber and SBR.
Zinc stearate is well known in the rubber industry as a processing additive. In particular, it can achieve maximum effectiveness in formulations based on natural rubber (NR) and styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR). Its function as an internal lubricant greatly contributes to the improvement of flow through micelle formation within polymer/polymer blends and polymer/filler compounds. It may become somewhat active in the vulcanization of NR, but it has been recognized to act in a way that enhances the stabilization of the vulcanizates.

We offer a wide range of German-made processing aids for rubber under the "Structol" brand, starting with lubricants. For many years, we have been favored by numerous rubber manufacturers in Japan, including the four major tire manufacturers, as well as many large, medium, and small companies. In recent times, with rising electricity costs and increasing raw material prices putting pressure on cost reduction, "Structol" contributes to reducing production costs for rubber product manufacturers by improving productivity, enhancing quality, and reducing defects.
