We combined a dispersant with fine sulfur to safely handle sulfur as a hazardous material in rubber processing.
The so-called sulfur flower, which was once marketed, is no longer used today due to its acidic properties that are harmful to the environment (caused by sulfur dioxide formed during the sublimation process in manufacturing). Currently, sulfur used in the rubber industry is legally required to have low sulfur content. Furthermore, entering an era of technological innovation, the development of sulfur refining technology has dramatically improved purity and particle size. Stractol's soluble sulfur products are formulated products that combine fine sulfur with dispersants to safely handle sulfur as a hazardous material in rubber processing.
