Rust removal test 1. Prepare a "rust removal solution" that fully submerges the parts. 2. Soak lightly rusted parts for about 30 minutes and heavily rusted parts overnight. 3. Remove the parts and rinse thoroughly with distilled water or rust-inhibiting detergent. 4. Wipe the parts with a dry cloth if necessary. 5. If rust remains, soak the parts in the removal solution again. 6. Rinse again until there are no traces of the removal solution left. 7. In the case of rinsing with pure water, use a rust inhibitor to prevent re-oxidation.
