"iconCFD" is a program developed based on OpenFOAM(R). It has the capability for automatic generation of analysis models, exhibits high convergence, and corrects known bugs in OpenFOAM. Additionally, improvements have been made with consideration for ease of use as a tool. OpenFOAM is a collection of computational codes for physical fields that is trademarked by OpenCFD, a subsidiary of ESI Group. It is released as open-source code under the GPL license, written in C++. Its functionalities range widely from mesh creation to solvers for fluid dynamics, thermal analysis, molecular dynamics, magnetohydrodynamics, and solid stress analysis, as well as result processing and visualization. CAE simulations can be realized through code development that matches user needs in design processes, physical models, required accuracy, and automation processes.
