The "AFD-3500" is an aperture area meter that can accurately measure the aperture diameter of SLR camera lenses. It responds promptly to data collection automation systems for product development and production lines. It can measure the aperture area of interchangeable lenses using a parallel light source. It is a separate model consisting of a light emission and reception unit and a display unit, with an extended light emission and reception period to accommodate telephoto lenses. It is equipped with a high-precision digital integration circuit, allowing calibration of up to 20 aperture diameters. It can measure errors against a reference aperture diameter at any time.
