This is an electrical resistance moisture meter that is optimal for measuring the moisture content of wood (timber/lumber/boards) categorized into seven types based on wood density, for each type of wood being measured.
It can be done with a 2-pin electrode sensor or the included external moisture sensor. A temperature sensor for temperature compensation is also included, allowing for automatic temperature correction of moisture when used in conjunction with the moisture sensor. Additionally, when using the temperature sensor, the temperature will also be displayed, enabling the DT-129 to be used as a digital thermometer.
