Using 3DCAD, a method called DDM (Divided Design Method) has been devised!
In traditional 2D design, while multiple people could view a single piece of data simultaneously, editing by multiple individuals was not possible. However, with 3D CAD, multiple people can edit component drawings simultaneously while the main designer can check the assembly drawings, allowing for progress tracking and partial edits even during the work process. In three dimensions, virtual shape and status checks are possible. Details that previously could only be confirmed after the actual equipment was completed, such as assembly interferences and the status of moving parts during or after operation, can now be checked in advance. Additionally, by incorporating past knowledge into 3D data, front-loading becomes possible.
