CardPAS is a utility software provided by Cardex that allows for the automatic printing of variable items (such as ID numbers and names) onto ID cards. It facilitates easy integration with layouts and higher-level systems when issuing cards at a service counter. By creating and keeping a pre-defined printing layout in CardPAS, it enables automatic card issuance using text files in CSV format or similar, sent from the higher-level system, through the standard printer driver. *If a printer with magnetic encoding is selected, simultaneous magnetic writing is also possible.
